Officials with Austin Bank have announced the promotions of Courtney Watts of Lindale and Margaret Mullinnix , both of Lindale.
“Each of these employees is a true professional who is dedicated to giving our customers exceptional service,” said Jeff Austin III, vice chairman of the board. “We are proud to have them as members of the Austin Bank team.”
The promotions were approved at the March 2017 Board of Directors meeting at the Austin Bank corporate office in Jacksonville.
Watts, Universal Banker, was promoted to banking officer. A long-time resident of Lindale and graduate of Lindale High School, she has completed the American Bankers Association Certified Customer Service Representative program.
Watts joined the Austin Bank team in 2007 as a floater teller, bringing with her five years of previous banking experience.
She worked as a Customer Service Representative in the Tyler downtown and Tyler Med Center offices before moving to the Lindale location and has been a CSR trainer for Smith County.
She and her husband, Anthony, have three sons – Connor, Cason and Cory.
Mullinnix, Retail Office Manager of the Bank’s Tyler Med Center location, was elected Assistant Vice President. She brings more than 28 years of banking experience in both large corporate banks and smaller community banks throughout California, Maine, Virginia and Texas to her customers.
Mullinnix managed the south Tyler location from 2004 to 2006 and rejoined the team in 2013 in her current role. She is an active member in the Mentor program sharing her wealth of experience with new employees. A graduate of Reedley High School in California, she has attended Hartnell Community College and Cerro Coso Community College.
She and her husband, Drew, live in Lindale.
