The Kilgore College Theatre Department will present “All in the Timing” – a collection of one-act plays by American playwright David Ives.
Set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Mar. 1-3, a matinee performance will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 4.
The short plays are all comedies, focusing mainly on language and wordplay, existentialist perspectives on life and meaning, and the complications of romantic relationships.
General admission tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students and $5 for KC students with a student ID.
Discounted ticket pricing is available for groups of 10 or more.
The production consists of six one-act plays consisting of a man and woman having an awkward encounter that keeps being reset, three chimpanzees attempting to write Hamlet, a woman who is taught a made-up language without realizing it, a man getting stuck in an anomalous pocket of reality called a “Philadelphia” and the death of Leon Trotsky done in a comic fashion.
This play is rated PG-13. Children under the age of 8 will not be admitted. Late arrivals will also not be admitted.
The box office will open one hour prior to each performance.
