TUESDAY

Kimberly Fish will be the special guest speaker for Book Talk on April 10 at noon in McMillan Memorial Library in Overton.Mrs. Fish will review her book The Big Inch. The historical fiction is set in Longview in 1942 dealing with President Roosevelt’s initiative to build the nation’s first overland pipeline to hurry East Texas crude to the troops. The author is from Longview and is currently on the LeTourneau University Board of Trustees. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited. BOOK TALK is a monthly event held at McMillan Memorial Library, 401 South Commerce Street, Overton.
