FUNDRAISER BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT - Highland Park Baptist Church is hosting a three-on-three, co-ed basketball tournament this Saturday at the Riley Pippen Family Life Center on the church grounds. The tournament will start at 11 a.m., teams will play others of their age. Admission is just $5 per person, $15 per team; all proceeds will go to the church's youth camp fundraiser. Concessions will be available.
The Rock Springs Cemetery Annual Homecoming is set for Sunday, June 3, on the old Kilgore-to-Gladewater highway. June's picnic begins as soon as guests can arrive following their own church services. A covered dish lunch is set for 1 p.m. Visitors are invited to bring a dish (as well as lawn chairs) – canned sodas and paper goods will be provided.
