A celebration of the life of Juanita Bobo Randolph of Marietta, Okla., is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta. Officiating will be Pastor Brett Alberda.
The daughter of Ole C. Bobo and Dora Howard Bobo, Juanita was born June 24, 1908 in Marietta and passed away Saturday, April 8, in Kilgore at the age of 108.
After graduating from Marietta High School, she married Sobe Love Randolph, Sr. on October 24, 1926 in Marietta. The couple lived in California for 20 years before returning to Marietta to make their home. Juanita was a homemaker who enjoyed all types of handiwork, especially crocheting, knitting, and needlepoint. She was a longtime member of Marietta’s First Christian Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; son, Henry Eugene Randolph; granddaughter, Donna Randolph Hunter; and two sisters, Oleta Neal and Winnie Bowling.
She is survived by three sons, Sobe Love Randolph and wife Betty of Hutchinson, Kan., Robert Mayberry Randolph of Ponca City, Okla., and Franklin David Randolph of Kilgore; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation at the First Christian Church in Marietta from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
