KSA registration upcoming

Registration for the Kilgore Soccer Association’s fall season will be conducted on Saturday, July 22 and on Saturday, July 29, then again on Aug. 5 and Aug. 12. All the sign-up sessions will be from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the KSA soccer fields just off of Highway 135, near the industrial area.
The KSA is for boys and girls, and they have to be four years old before Dec. 31. Registration cost is $80 per player, and any child that didn’t play in the spring session needs to bring a birth certificate to sign-ups.
There will be a coaches meeting on Aug. 26 at 10 a.m. at the Lions Club building downtown, on Rusk Street.

Kilgore Bass Anglers meeting

Interested fishermen and regular members are invited to meet with the Kilgore Bass Anglers at the Back Porch on the first Monday of each month.

Sabine camp July 24-26

Fourth through ninth grade girls in the upcoming school year are invited to attend the Lady Cardinals volleyball camp at Sabine High School on July 24-26.
The camp will be from 9 a.m. until noon each day, and sign-up is $35 per camper.

Cardinal camp July 31-Aug. 2

The Sabine Cardinal football camp will be July 31-Aug. 2, from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., at the Sabine High School football practice field.
The camp is for students that will be in fourth through ninth grades in the 2017-18 school year.
The registration fee of $35 per camper can be paid the first day of camp, but to be guaranteed a T-shirt, register by calling Sabine coach Rex Sharp at (903) 984-7266, or by e-mailing him at rsharp@sabineisd.org.

Ware, Howell happy campers

Two of Kilgore High School's twirlers, Jordan Ware and Hannah Howell, attented the TOPS in Twirling camp at Kilgore College recently. Ware and Howell were among 160 campers.
Some of the classes they took were advanced 2 baton, feature, KCT prep and fire baton. KC also hosted a twirling camp for younger students (kindergarten through fifth grade) that week.
KHS twirling sponsor is Blair Maxwell.
