When Kilgore College takes the Waco ISD Stadium turf this morning for the TIPS-CHAMPS Heart of Texas Bowl, the Rangers can be seen internationally.
Kilgore College, 9-2 on the season and ranked fourth in the nation, takes on Pima (Ariz.) Community College today at 11 a.m. Central time, in the 18th annual Heart of Texas Bowl. This is the first year the game will be played at Waco ISD Stadium; the game had previously been played at Copperas Cove.

The game will be live on DirecTV channel 623 (Eleven Sports), on Suddenlink Cable channel 455, and will also air on KFXK-KTPN out of Tyler, and other stations across the state (in affiliates in Amarillo, Austin, Bryan, El Paso, Lubbock, San Antonio, and Waco, as well as Huntsville, Ala., Oklahoma City, Okla., and Shreveport, La.
It will also be available on Twitch Desktop App, and on the Twitch Mobile App, both streaming, as well as AT&T U-Verse channel 1665 and Verizon Fios channel 597, and on Sony PlayStation VUE’s Sports pack.
KC has won seven straight games, and won both the regular season and playoff championships in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference. The Rangerettes and the KC band will both perform at this game.
The Rangers, coached by J.J. Eckert, seek their first bowl win since January, 2007, although they have played in a few bowls since then. Pima is ranked 20th overall, and is 6-3. The Aztecs come into the game on a two-game losing streak.
KC and Pima met once before, a 10-7 Pima victory in the 2004 Pilgrim’s Pride Bowl in Mount Pleasant.
