Kilgore Public Library is hosting a special storytime event later this month, featuring holiday music from the Kilgore Middle School Orchestra at 10 a.m. today. Admission is free and open-to-the-public.

Decorated for the holidays, Kilgore Public Library is offering ‘Christmas Crafts for Kids’ throughout the month – there’s one more chance, set for 3 p.m. Dec. 20. Learn more about ongoing activities at Facebook.com/KilgorePublicLibrary.

Downtown’s final seasonal shopping push is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, in Kilgore Main Street’s Stuff the Stocking. Select retailers and restaurants will offer last-minute treats and opportunities as Christmas morning approaches.

ONGOING:

The lights are shining at Hugh Camp Memorial Park for 2018’s Christmas in the Park at Liberty City. The holiday attraction on Old Hwy. 135 is free and open-to-the-public from dark to 9 a.m. seven days a week through New Year’s Eve. Santa Claus will be on-site during the season – search Facebook for ‘Christmas in the Park at Liberty City’ for updates to the Jolly Old Elf’s schedule.
