A Celebration of Life for Terry Lynn Robins, 60, of Overton, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Interment will be in the Rusk County Memorial gardens following the service. Mrs. Robins completed her earthly journey on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Kilgore.
Terry was born on June 25, 1956 in Port Clinton, Ohio, to George William and Margaret Ann Brown. She met and married the love of her life, Stephen Robins and they spent the next 45 years making many loving and happy memories. Terry was the cafeteria supervisor for Leverett’s Chapel ISD. She not only worked for the school district she was also one of its biggest supporters being very involved in all of the activities sponsored by the school district. One of her endearing attributes was her love for birthdays. She believed that everyone’s birthday should be celebrated and she loved to throw parties to honor people on their special day. Her family was the source of her strength and spending time with them was when she was happiest.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Stephen Robins of Overton; children, Stacy Robins of Kilgore, Blake Robins, Billie Kay Roe and her husband Joe, all of Leverett’s Chapel; grandchildren, Jacob Youngblood, Kyle Youngblood, Koy Burks, Kasey Scott and Kiera Robins, all of Leverett’s Chapel; great-grandchild, Miles Youngblood of Leverett’s Chapel; mother, Margaret Brown of Leverett’s Chapel; siblings, Curtis Brown and Tonya Brown, both of Leverett’s Chapel; mother-in-law, Barbara Robins Wilburn of Kilgore. Also, left to carry on her legacy are numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loving family members.
Preceding Terry in death are her father George William Brown, daughter Shawn Robins and father-in-law Bill Robins.
